Culture and Member Service Chat Host (Volunteer)
About the role
Conversa Corps is seeking a Mission Success Host to help new members of the Aid Arena community feel welcomed and engaged. This role involves guiding new members through the onboarding process, fostering a sense of belonging, and encouraging active participation.
Responsibilities
- Personalize welcome messages and conduct initial orientation within 24 hours of joining Aid Arena.
- Provide clear instructions on key platforms like Slack channels and Aid Base.
- Offer regular check-ins to ensure comfort and address any questions or concerns.
- Encourage members to participate in discussions and connect with others based on shared interests.
- Facilitate introductions between members and guide them in engaging with the community.
- Monitor member progress and cultural adaptation, escalating issues as necessary.
- Ensure members complete basic CollabOps training and update their profiles.
- Communicate regularly with the Member Success Manager on member engagement and progress.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have experience or interest in community engagement, member support, and peer mentoring. Excellent written communication skills, empathy, and a proactive approach are essential. Candidates must also be comfortable with digital platforms and have a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
Qualifications
- Experience or interest in community engagement, member support, customer success, peer mentoring, or related volunteer work.
- Track record of empathetic engagement and helping others feel comfortable and valued.
- Strong written communication skills with a warm, friendly, and professional tone.
- High degree of reliability and follow-through.
- Alignment with Conversa Corps' mission, values, and collaborative culture.
- Completion of basic CollabOps training (101 and 102 courses).

- CollabOps Understanding: Understanding of CollabOps principles and best practices.
