Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Learning and Development, the Culture and Engagement Manager owns and elevates the end-to-end employee experience at Gifthealth, with a strong focus on culture, engagement, connection, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Gifthealth’s culture and engagement strategy, translating mission and values into meaningful, scalable programs that strengthen connection, belonging, and engagement.
Design and deliver high-impact initiatives including employee recognition, volunteerism, employee philanthropy, belonging programs, Culture Council initiatives, and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
Define success metrics, measure impact, and continuously evolve programs based on employee feedback, survey data, and business needs.
Own and continuously improve the onboarding and orientation experience, ensuring new hires experience a seamless, welcoming, and values-driven introduction to Gifthealth.
Collaborate with hiring managers and HR partners to embed culture and expectations early in the employee lifecycle.
Work cross-functionally to optimize key lifecycle moments including performance management, internal mobility, recognition, engagement, and retention initiatives.
Leverage surveys, analytics, and employee insights to identify trends, tell the story of our culture, and develop actionable recommendations.
Implement and support programs that promote wellbeing, inclusion, and long-term employee retention.
Partner with Enterprise Learning & Development colleagues to embed culture and values into onboarding, leadership development, and learning experiences.
Collaborate closely with Employee Communications to amplify culture initiatives, share stories, and align messaging with broader communication strategies.
Facilitate culture-focused sessions such as onboarding values experiences, engagement workshops, Culture Council meetings, and ERG leader forums.
Participate in cross-functional initiatives that enhance employee experience, culture, and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
Demonstrated success building, sustaining, and scaling organizational culture and engagement programs.
Strong ability to lead through change, growth, and ambiguity.
Broad HR knowledge including employee relations, organizational design, talent development, compensation, and employment practices.
Experience with HRIS, engagement platforms, analytics, and reporting.
Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills across all levels of the organization.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
High degree of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
Strong project and process management capabilities.
Executive presence with the ability to operate confidently with senior leaders.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with rigor and attention to detail.
