Cultural Arts Education Administration Internship
About the role
Berklee College of Music offers a Cultural Arts Education Administration Internship designed for eligible Boston youth ages 14-18. This internship provides hands-on learning in cultural arts education administration, covering operations, marketing, communications, community arts project management, production, research, and fundraising.
Responsibilities
- Engage in day-to-day administrative tasks
- Support the operation and promotion of Berklee’s programs
- Create social media content
- Aid in the operations of special productions and events
- Provide support for prospective student and family inquiries
- Assist with special research projects
Requirements
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Must be a Boston-resident teen aged 14-18
- Currently enrolled in high school, post-secondary education, or a GED/HiSET/Alternative Education program
- Strong communication and soft skills
- Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
- Computer literacy (Mac OS, Microsoft Suite, and spreadsheet management)
- Strong sense of initiative and ability to work as a member of a team
- Demonstrates responsibility and is on time for work and with deadlines

Pay
$15.00 per hour
Schedule
10am - 3pm Monday - Thursday, for a total of 16 hours/week. Some evening and weekend support for events, productions, and auditions may be desired.
