Basic Responsibilities
The Cultural Advocate/Home-School Liaison plays a vital role in building strong, respectful, and culturally responsive relationships between American Indian students, families, schools, and communities. This position ensures American Indian students are supported academically, socially, and emotionally while promoting cultural identity, heritage, and understanding throughout the school system.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong understanding of American Indian cultures, histories, and communities
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and staff from diverse backgrounds
Schedule
- 1.0 FTE
- Student days, 171 days per year
- This position will split time between Cohasset Elementary and Bigfork Schools
Pay
$18.96 - $23.17 per hour
