Position Summary

The Cultivation Technician operates under the direction of the cultivation leadership team and plays a key role in supporting all aspects of cultivation operations. This is an entry-level, hands-on position responsible for assisting with plant care, propagation, harvesting, sanitation, research and development activities, and regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do

  • Plant Care & Cultivation Support
    • Support daily cultivation activities throughout all stages of the plant lifecycle, including propagation, vegetative growth, flowering, and harvest.
    • Aid in transplanting, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and integrated pest management (IPM) practices.
    • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout cultivation areas, tools, and equipment.
    • Safely operate cultivation equipment and systems, including irrigation and trimming equipment.
    • Assist with general labor tasks as needed to support facility operations.
  • Research & Development
    • Participate in cultivation trials and experiments designed to improve plant health, yield, and operational efficiency.
    • Collect and accurately document cultivation data and observations.
    • Support ongoing R&D projects by monitoring plant performance and maintaining detailed records.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate findings to leadership.
  • Harvest & Post-Harvest Activities
    • Harvest mature plants according to production schedules and compliance requirements.
    • Trim, process, and package cannabis flower while maintaining strain integrity.
    • Monitor drying rooms and environmental conditions to support product quality.
    • Weigh, record, and track harvest yields and production metrics.
    • Absorb inventory management and waste tracking procedures.
  • Compliance & Documentation
    • Maintain accurate records of cultivation activities, inventory movements, harvests, and treatments.
    • Follow all state regulations, company policies, and seed-to-sale tracking requirements.
    • Adhere to workplace safety standards and best cultivation practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid government-issued photo identification
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently when required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to perform measurements, calculations, and accurately record data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six (6) months or more of agricultural, greenhouse, horticulture, nursery, or cultivation experience
  • Previous experience working in a regulated production environment
  • Passion for plant science and commercial cultivation
