Cultivation Technician Lead

About the role

The Cultivation Technician Lead at Stash Ventures is responsible for providing care and support for plant cultivation, adhering to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. This role ensures quality plant care from cloning to harvest, maintaining a safe work environment, and overseeing daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assists with tasks including fertigation, harvest, propagation, and cultivation work.
• Ensures proper care of all plants while meeting company standards.
• Oversees daily tasks and schedules, updating state monitoring systems (METRC).
• Participates in inventory practices and assists with audits/reconciliations.
• Fulfills SOPs and maintains a safe, healthy work environment.
• Keeps accurate records and follows documentation practices.
• Performs tasks assigned by management, including participating in the interview process.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in regulated cannabis cultivation.
• Knowledge of agriculture and plant cultivation, including nutrient requirements, mediums, light requirements, temperature control, and air flow.
• Understanding of plant diseases, insects, and fungi and their treatment options.
• Aged 21 or older.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Physical demands: sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, handling organic matter, wearing PPE, and exposure to various environmental conditions.

Qualifications

• General understanding of environmental and fertigation systems.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Requires some computer/office tasks such as typing.
• Must be able to handle organic matter daily.

Skills

• Fluent in all job duties required of a cultivation technician I and II.
• Trains team members to perform all job duties.
• Understands and updates state monitoring system (METRC).
• Participates in inventory practices and assists with audits/reconciliation.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following MIOSHA regulations, organization standards, and legal regulations.
