Cultivation Assistant

About the role

Friend Jen & Co. is a fast-growing, medical cannabis dispensary, cultivation, and manufacturing facility devoted to quality, craft cannabis. We are looking for a qualified cultivation assistant for our Auburn location.

Responsibilities

• Work collectively and cooperatively as part of a team
• Watering plants, maintaining vegetation rooms and clone rooms
• Participate during harvests and perform a variety of other cultivation tasks
• Ensure production quotas are met in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality
• Perform physical tasks that are repetitive, including cleaning the grow facility and occasional trimming duties

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older
• Valid driver’s license
• 1-year experience working in an industrial setting is preferred but not required
• Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to comply with all safety guidelines at all times
• Reliable and punctual
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Attention to detail
• Weekend availability is a must

• Manual dexterity
• Able and patient to do repetitive tasks
• Ability to learn and use various machines and hand tools
• Lifting, bending, reaching

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting
• One location (on-site)
