About the Role
As a Culinary Services Cook, you will plan, prepare, and serve attractive, nutritious meals while maintaining a well-organized and efficient Dining Services department.
Responsibilities
- Plans, prepares, and serves meals in an organized, timely, and sanitary manner.
- Assists the Culinary Services Director in maintaining efficiency in the Dining Services department.
- Prepares and serves meals for assigned shifts.
- Maintains high standards for dining services, including efficient meal delivery, customer service, and cleanliness of the dining room and kitchen.
- Cleans work area, pots, and equipment after preparation and service.
- Ensures all leftovers are covered, labeled, dated, and stored properly.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Food Service Sanitation Certificate as per State/Local requirements.
- Experience and/or knowledge of volume meal preparation and serving for large groups.
- Some supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand recipes, work in a team environment, handle multiple tasks, and communicate effectively.
