Key Responsibilities
- Aid the Culinary Manager with daily kitchen operations
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure consistency and excellence
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and cost control
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal offerings
- Step in to lead the kitchen in the absence of the Culinary Manager
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a professional kitchen
- Previous chef or senior line cook experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen best practices
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
