About the role

The Culinary Manager oversees all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, consistent presentation, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. This role combines hands-on culinary expertise with strong leadership to guide and inspire a talented kitchen team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate kitchen staff to follow proper safety, health, sanitation and food preparation practices.
  • Work towards a common goal of excellent care and food service for residents.
  • Hire, train, evaluate, and schedule kitchen staff.
  • Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of experience as Culinary Manager.
  • Certification in a Dietary Manager Course or associate’s degree in culinary/hospitality management.
  • Current and valid ServSafe Manager’s Food Safety Certificate.
  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers and staff.
