Responsibilities
- Aid instructors before class to prep and organize.
- Be available for assistance during class.
- Monitor and assist in cleanup after class as needed.
- Support the maintenance of labs by cleaning, organizing, and performing preventative maintenance.
- Requisition products for classes and put away non-used product after class.
- Keep coolers and dry storage neat, clean, and organized.
- Assist in multi-course, fine dining dinner prep, plate up and clean up.
- Assist in front of house full service fine dining service, including dining room set up, food running, table side service, bussing tables, drink service, washing and putting away dishes, cleaning dining room, sweeping and mopping.
- Assist in demonstrations or functions as needed.
- Prepare various food products as needed for lab use and special events.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in a culinary setting preferred. Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and tools. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekdays, evenings, and Saturdays.
Pay
$18 - $20 per hour.
Schedule
Up to 27 hours per week, including weekday daytime hours, two to three evenings, and some Saturday mornings.
