About the role
The Broadmoor is committed to creating a culture of family and community while providing exceptional service to guests and team members. This role involves delivering prepared foods and supplies to different outlets.
Responsibilities
- Pick up food from production areas and load onto truck.
- Deliver to appropriate outlets.
- Update banquet worksheets and deliver food accordingly.
- Work in a prompt and organized manner to ensure timely deliveries.
- Keep truck clean.
- Return empty cart and leftover food from functions back to appropriate location.
- Safely and correctly operate lift gate at the back of the truck.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip safety inspection of assigned vehicles.
- Drive vehicles in a safe, professional, and courteous manner.
- Communicate effectively with other team members using radios.
- Help clean and maintain all work facilities.
- Keep vehicle fueled and oil checked as needed.
- Perform minor maintenance or adjustments as required.
- Report any accidents or damage to a vehicle to the Executive Steward.
- Attend daily pre-shift meetings.
- Dress in proper uniform to include department-approved footwear.
- Help to empty the trash truck when full.
- Assemble equipment needed for banquet functions on Queen Mary.
- Drive equipment to and from functions as needed.
- Assist with keeping the loading dock areas clean of carts and equipment.
- Assist with shoveling snow and placing ice melt in delivery areas.
- Be safety-minded in all tasks related to the delivery of products.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or three months of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License preferred to assist with driving shuttles or transporting guests as needed.
- Any employee driving a Broadmoor vehicle must be 18 years or older.
- Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
- Work environment that is primarily indoors and outdoors at times.
