Responsibilities
- Helps create a restaurant-style dining experience through serving meals, customer service, and collaboration.
- Follows written and oral instructions.
- Follows diet orders/tray cards and work assignments.
- Ensures meal orders are delivered accurately, and any special requests or dietary restrictions are noted and followed.
- Performs defined work routines.
- Affords assistance with cleaning routines after meals have ended and setting up for next meal.
- Maintains proper food safety and sanitation procedures and keeps a clean and safe environment.
- Assists in receiving and storing food and supplies as directed by Culinary Director.
- Attends scheduled department meetings.
- Attends educational programs.
- Follows defined safety codes while performing duties.
- Follows Infection Control procedures.
- Understands community’s fire and disaster plans; follows established procedures during drills and actual emergencies.
- Be knowledgeable of federal, state, and community’s rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a food service or related field preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings.
Skills
