- Collaborate with designers on creative direction, providing input on photography, design choices, and overall asset strength to ensure cohesive storytelling
- Present creative work to leadership, articulating strategic thinking and rationale behind copy decisions
- Manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards and meeting established deadlines
A day in the life
As a Culinary Copywriter, you'll spend your day immersed in the art of food storytelling. You might start by collaborating with our design team to conceptualize packaging copy for a new Whole Foods Market exclusive brand, then shift to drafting short, punchy copy for a digital banner campaign. You'll research ingredients and culinary techniques to build authentic context, then present your work to our Creative Director of Copy and senior leadership for feedback. Throughout the day, you'll balance multiple projects—from long-form editorial pieces to UI microcopy—while maintaining our distinctive brand voice across every touchpoint. You'll also have opportunities to respectfully challenge creative decisions and contribute strategic thinking to our broader marketing initiatives.
