Culinary Aide - Copper Creek Inn
About the role
Copper Creek Inn is a memory care facility seeking a part-time Culinary Aide to join their dedicated team. The position offers competitive pay starting at $19/hour, dependent on experience, with multiple shift options available.
Responsibilities
- Prepare dining room tables and ensure dining room cleanliness
- Protect establishments and residents by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
- Aid residents in selecting food and beverages, presenting menus, making suggestions, and explaining chefs' daily specials
- Bus dirty dishes and refill residents' beverages as needed
- Interact with residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner
- Adhere to grooming and presentation standards, maintaining a clean uniform at all times
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor
- Assist with special events as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Positive interpersonal skills
- A food handler's card
- Basic math skills
- Ability to lift 15 pounds
- Customer service experience
- Must be drug-free and submit to drug screening upon hire and routinely
- Must pass a criminal background check upon hire and as required by state regulations
