About the Role
Join the ASC Team as a Culinary Aide where you will contribute to ensuring our residents receive safe, nutritious, and delicious meals by assisting with meal prep and service and helping to maintain a clean work environment. Evening shift hours available.
Responsibilities
- Partner with culinary leaders to best meet the needs of residents to provide a positive dining experience.
- Assist in the preparation and portioning of meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
- Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
- Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
- Clean equipment as needed, maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace.
Requirements
- Commitment to customer service.
- Willingness to perform routine tasks and effectively work alongside the culinary team and leaders.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling (unless required by State and Federal agencies; certifications can be earned while employed with ASC).
- Preferred: Prior restaurant server experience.
