Job Summary Perform various duties around the facility which include general laboring, equipment operation, safety, and quality control. Job Responsibilities Assist the plant manager with the daily operations and upkeep of the plantMaintain and operate Production Machinery safely and efficientlyAccess all areas of the plant to perform necessary maintenance and repairsDetect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordinglyAssist operators to set up machines and any other necessary tasks to adhere to deadlines and completion of productMay be called upon at discretion of the Plant Manager to perform any other duties assigned and/or to assist other departments if necessaryMake sure all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned area Job Requirements High school diploma/equivalentAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manualsAbility to be a self-starter and work independentlyAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsAbility to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situationsMaintain a high level of accuracy in all aspects of work assignments While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of timeMust have the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.Able to work a flexible schedule What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsAn inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
