Full‑Time Certified Recreational Therapist, Licensed Music Therapist, and Licensed Dance Therapist positions are available.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of patients regarding leisure and recreational pursuits.
• Plan and implement structured recreational therapy programs for patients who need intervention.
• Develop, conduct, and evaluate a diversified program of activities tailored to individual patients.
• Organize records, maintain, and order equipment and supplies.
• Provide care that prioritizes safety, respect, comfort, and a therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrate commitment to service, hospital values, and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive data at all times.
• Adhere to organizational and department‑specific safety standards and guidelines.
• Work collaboratively and support the efforts of team members.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and interact effectively with physicians, patients, visitors, staff, and the broader health‑care community.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy.
• Certification as a Registered Recreational Therapist.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience in a Behavioral Health setting preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with other disciplines and communicate relevant clinical details in writing and orally.
• Knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to any age or disability‑specific needs of patients served.
