CTO / Head of Product

About the Role

We need a CTO who can own both the product and the delivery — someone who builds the infrastructure, ships the tooling, and makes sure every client installation runs without us in the room. This is a dual role: you build the product and ensure clients get results. Both matter equally.

Responsibilities

• Product:
  • Architect and ship Rawclaw as a two-line install — a Claude Code harness that any business can deploy in under five minutes
  • Build OpenClaw launch tooling so clients can spin up the product inside a virtual machine without physical hardware
  • Own the full product roadmap: dashboard, agent training pipeline, and client LLM layer
  • Design for infinite scale — every feature you ship productizes a service we currently do manually
• Client Fulfillment:
  • SSH into client Mac Minis and cloud VMs to deploy, debug, and iterate on live installations
  • Onboard new clients: set up their AI infrastructure, configure agents, and train the system on their business
  • Build and maintain Postgres databases for client operations — clean schemas, fast queries, right structure
  • Handle anything that breaks in production and fix it fast
• Infrastructure:
  • Containerize Rawclaw with Docker so the product runs identically across Mac, Linux, and cloud VMs
  • Build the VM deployment path so we can deliver the product without shipping physical hardware
  • Maintain our Convex backend, Vercel serverless functions, and TypeScript engine
  • Design agentic workflows for clients — multi-agent pipelines that handle real business operations end-to-end
• Agency Operations:
  • Understand how agencies and consulting businesses actually work — their ops, their bottlenecks, their clients
  • Translate messy business problems into clean agent architectures
  • Work directly with Chris to scope new client installs and define what gets built next
  • Build internal tooling that makes every Rawgrowth delivery faster and more consistent

Requirements

• You've shipped AI agent systems in production — not demos, not tutorials, real products clients depend on
• You know Claude Code deeply. You've built with the Claude Agent SDK or equivalent agentic frameworks
• Postgres is your default — you write migrations, design schemas, and optimize queries without help
• Docker and VMs aren't scary. You can containerize an app and deploy it to a cloud instance in your sleep
• You can SSH into a client's Mac Mini and diagnose a broken deployment in under an hour
• You've worked inside or with agencies, consulting firms, or service businesses — you understand how they operate
• You think in systems. You see a manual process and immediately start designing the agent that replaces it
• You can own a project from spec to shipped without daily check-ins

This role is remote-first. We prefer candidates in Eastern Europe, Georgia, or other time zones that overlap with EST mornings.

Pay

Compensation is $5K–$15K/month depending on experience and market.
