CTE- Culinary Arts Teacher

About the role

The successful candidate will lead culinary arts classes, develop lesson plans, and ensure student safety in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Teach culinary arts classes to high school students
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Ensure student safety and proper use of equipment in the kitchen
• Mentor and support students' academic and personal growth

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field
• Valid state teaching certificate
• Experience in culinary education or equivalent work experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of current culinary techniques and trends
• Ability to manage classroom and kitchen environments safely
• Passion for teaching and mentoring young chefs

Pay

• $40,000 - $50,000 annually

Schedule
