Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality radiologic and CT exams on incoming patients.
  • Monitor patient well-being during exams; recognize discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
  • Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Guide patients through procedures by explaining steps and addressing questions or concerns.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information.
  • Exhibit and maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Requirements

  • Genuinely passionate about patient care and able to exercise sound judgment while remaining professional.
  • Effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills, and respect for patients, guests, and colleagues.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work with a structured approach, and solve complex problems.

Qualifications

  • State licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT) certification as required by state regulations.
  • BLS certification depending on state regulations.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Pay

$36.00–$56.00 per hour.
