CT X Ray Technologist

Hourly wage estimate: $33.44 - $51.26. The estimate represents the typical wage range of candidates hired; actual salary may vary based on skills, experience, and comparison to other employees in the role. A $2.00 weekend differential is offered for Saturday shifts.

About the Role

This position is a CT/X-Ray Technologist role with a schedule of Thursday - Saturday, day shift (06:30 - 18:30), located at HCA HealthONE Rose Sloan's Lake Freestanding ER. The role involves performing CT and X-Ray procedures, including basic x-rays, fluoroscopy, and portables, for patients ranging from newborn to late adulthood. The technologist will prioritize and promote quality patient care while maintaining compliance with Joint Commission regulations and facility standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform all CT and X-Ray procedures independently, demonstrating solid to expert knowledge.
• Communicate effectively and provide quality patient care in alignment with the facility’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Maintain technical and documentation standards consistent with Joint Commission regulations.
• Demonstrate independent critical thinking and accountability for personal and team contributions.
• Cross-train in additional modalities as required.
• Reflect concern and consideration in interactions with patients, medical staff, and employees per HealthONE’s Standards of Behavior.

Requirements

• Solid to expert knowledge of diagnostic procedures, including x-rays and portables.
• Registered technologist with current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and CT, including CE compliance.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or ARC.
• Graduate of a 24-month AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• One year of diagnostic experience required; CT experience preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
