CT Technologist - Weekend Option

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures to support patient diagnosis at a healthcare facility. They operate imaging equipment independently, ensuring safety and diagnostic accuracy while adhering to infection control protocols. Key duties include obtaining patient history, explaining procedures using AIDET, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and administering contrast when necessary. Technologists review images for quality, complete accurate documentation, and manage workflow efficiently. They respond to emergencies, maintain equipment, support department operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least one year of radiology experience. Certifications needed are ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS.
