Employment Type Part time Shift Rotating Shift Description PRN CT technologist to cover for staff PAL, holidays and on-call. Must have experience in hospital setting, be able to perform routine CT scans, x-ray exams, fluoroscopy and OR. Position Summary PRN CT technologist to cover for staff PAL, holidays and on-call. Must have experience in hospital setting, be able to perform routine CT scans, x-ray exams, fluoroscopy and OR. What You Will Do Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients.Assist the radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies, drain tube placements, injections, and markings.Performing angiography studies of the brain, neck, and chest with 3D reformats What You Will Need Licensure/Certification/Registration: registered or registry eligible with ARRT Education: Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school.
