Responsibilities

• Compassionately assist and position patients on CT table
• Start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary
• Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary
• Release customer with proper post procedure instructions
• Turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications

• Prefer Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or Prefer degree in Radiology Technology
• Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date
• Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning
