Join Intermountain Health and help people live the healthiest lives possible. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services that support accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
  • Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares patients for examinations.
  • Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
  • Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment.
  • Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality.
  • Aids and instructs students and other CT Technologists regarding protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment operation.
  • Provides patient education, ensures patient comfort, and addresses concerns.
  • P Practices appropriate infection prevention and sterile techniques.
  • Understands and operates CT equipment and related information systems to ensure quality diagnostic images.
  • Maintains accurate patient records, procedure documentation, and adverse reaction reporting.
  • Follows protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, quality control programs, and reporting equipment failures.

Requirements

  • Licenses & Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) Radiography Certification/Registration. Current state licensure, where required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • Experience: One (1) year or more of CT experience preferred. New Graduates Encouraged to Apply.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications: Licenses & Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Computed Tomography Certification/Registration (ARRT)(CT). Completion of controlled substance module, where applicable. Completion of initial moderate sedation module, where applicable. Facility-specific certifications as required.

$39.16 - $60.42 per hour, based on experience
