About the role
We are seeking a CT Technologist responsible for operating computed tomography scanners for various procedures following radiologists' directives.
Responsibilities
- Explaining procedures to patients and obtaining clinical history
- Reviewing lab values and screening for allergies to ensure safe contrast media administration
- Administering oral and IV contrast media
- Operating CT scanners and coordinating workload with other departments
- Monitoring quality and patient care functions
- Focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization (HRO)
Qualifications
- A High School diploma or GED
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Ohio Department of Health Radiologic License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
