About the role
Support clinical teams by performing diagnostic CT exams in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients, verify orders, and ensure proper identification.
- Perform CT scans following departmental protocols and maintain image quality.
- Understand cross-sectional anatomy and positioning skills.
- Administer contrast agents under physician supervision and practice radiation safety.
- Practice infection control, provide patient education, and ensure patient comfort.
- Operate CT equipment and related information systems effectively.
Requirements
- ARRT Radiography Certification and relevant state licensure.
- Proficiency in CT imaging and BLS certification.
Qualifications
Preferred: ARRT CT Certification/Registration and 1+ year of CT experience.
Skills
- Strong communication and manual dexterity.
- Ability to lift and move patients and equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and navigate busy environments.
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
