Job Summary
As a CT Technologist (CT Tech) you will be responsible for performing CT exams in accordance with standards and practice set forth by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and Radiology Department policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- One year experience as a Radiology Technologist in an acute care setting
- One year experience performing CT procedures - preferred
- Graduate from an accredited approved program in Radiologic Technology
- Completion of courses in computed tomography (CT) and cross-sectional anatomy
- Current Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB)
- Certified in Radiology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (R))
- Certified in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (CT)) within 6 months of CT assignment
