CT Technologist Lead

Full-time position supporting the Imaging Manager in planning, organizing, and controlling all CT activities, including inter-departmental and physician relationships.

Responsibilities

• Train new Imaging staff in CT.
• Provide education, training, and information to Imaging staff regarding CT.
• Assist in overseeing the collection and processing of CT procedures.
• Proactively participate in processes to guide patient care in the most efficient, productive, and cost-effective manner.
• Monitor and record required quality controls as assigned.
• Knowledgeable of policies and procedures; assist with their review and updates.
• Competent in general radiology, including fluoroscopy, surgery, bone density, and general office duties.
• Competent in performing CT and administering contrast.
• Display leadership skills, including working well with others to promote their growth in CT.
• Safely transport patients using assisting devices as needed.
• Work with radiologists on developing protocols.
• Enter and change protocols in CT as appropriate.
• Ensure CT regulatory, state, federal, and hospital requirements are followed.
• Maintain the CT QA program with adjustments and additions as needed.
• Maintain records of LDCT exams and send letters when appropriate.
• Complete and maintain all required education and training requirements.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Follow all lawful safety, health requirements, and protocols for required protective equipment (PPE).
• Promptly report safety issues, job-related injury or illness, near misses, etc.
• Follow Hillsboro Health Standards of Behavior.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the job and organization.
• Lead a team of diverse individuals to accomplish goals.

Requirements

• Graduate of a 2-year certified Radiology Technologist School program.
• 4 years of CT/Imaging experience preferred.

Certificates and Licenses

• Maintain current CT and X-ray registrations (ARRT and IEMA as required).
• CPR certification.

Pay

$30.89 - $38.61 per hour
