About the Role

Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center in Columbia, MD is seeking experienced CT Technologists to join a fast-paced, patient-focused imaging team.

Responsibilities

• Selects and performs appropriate CT protocol based on patient’s clinical presentation according to established guidelines.
• Selects, reviews, and adjusts appropriate technical factors to produce optimal CT images based on patient’s age and physical condition.
• Routinely positions patients properly on CT table. Removes all preventable artifacts that may interfere with image quality.
• Consistently completes the full exam - all appropriate paperwork, post-processing and archiving.
• Consistently verifies accurate and complete patient identifiers, procedure and other pertinent information.
• Consistently demonstrates appropriate knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy.
• Demonstrates a good technical knowledge to fully understand and operate the CT scanners and accessory equipment.
• Maintains and cleans all CT equipment to established guidelines.
• Actively keeps work area clean and orderly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program (or equivalent)
• Current ARRT certification and registration required
• Active Maryland Radiologic Technologist license required
• CURRENT AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required

Pay

$61 - $64 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

• Option 1: Saturday & Sunday 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM
• Option 2: Wednesday: 1:00 PM - 1:30 AM
  Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
