About the Role

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information.
• Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
• Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR
• ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required

Pay

The estimated base pay for this position is $42.40 to $58.16 per hour. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

Schedule

Full-time regular, 12-hour shifts.
