Current Opportunities

• Full Time positions available on evening shift. (Monday to Friday, 2:30pm to 11pm or Monday to Friday 4pm to 12:30pm. No weekend rotation required!)
• Part Time weekender positions are available on evening and night shift. Evening- Saturday/Sunday 10am to 10:30pm or 12p to 12:30amNights: Friday/Saturday 10pm to 10:30am.
• Casual/as needed positions. On call and Holiday rotation required for all positions.
• Select positions are eligible for a sign on bonus up to $8,000 for eligible candidates!

Responsibilities

• Maintains accountability for patient safety throughout the imaging process, including screening, preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care.
• Produces diagnostic-quality images using approved protocols and professional standards.
• Operates imaging equipment and maintains imaging room readiness.
• Coordinates exam flow and prioritizes time-sensitive studies.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation in medical record and image archive system, including exam set-up, image routing, result availability and charging accuracy.
• Adheres to organizational values, ethical standards, and compliance requirements.
• Consistently upholds all applicable quality and safety standards within diagnostic imaging, such as radiation safety, MRI safety, Infection prevention measures safe practices (as applicable to the role) to protect self, patients, visitors and team members.
• Safeguards patient, staff and personal safety by adhering to established standards including positively confirming Right Patient and Right Exam.
• Positions and immobilizes patient on examining table. Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately and uses ALARA principles during examinations.
• Administers contrast in accordance with policy, including screening for contraindications and patient monitoring (as applicable).
• Enters data such as type of scan, slice thickness, scan time and other technical data into computer.
• Communicates with patient before and during procedure; monitors safety, comfort.
• Validates that all required series, images, protocols and reconstructions are complete and meet established image quality standards.
• Assures complete study transfer to PACS for radiologist interpretation.
• Performs CT equipment QA and maintains required logs.
• Performs clerical tasks such as receiving orders, scheduling patients, and recordkeeping.
• Maintains and cleans work area and equipment; replenishes supplies as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Computed Toography (CT)
• Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) Accreditation
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Skills

Apply professional judgment within approved protocols to optimize image quality and address imaging challenges. Reviews images prior to exam completion and initiates corrective action when diagnostic adequacy is not met. Administers contrast in accordance with policy, including screening for contraindications and patient monitoring (as applicable). Operates imaging equipment and maintains imaging room readiness. Identifies equipment performance issues and initiates follow-up through established service processes. Coordinates exam flow and prioritizes time-sensitive studies. Maintains accurate and timely documentation in medical record and image archive system, including exam set-up, image routing, result availability and charging accuracy. Adheres to organizational values, ethical standards, and compliance requirements. Consistently upholds all applicable quality and safety standards within diagnostic imaging, such as radiation safety, MRI safety, Infection prevention measures safe practices (as applicable to the role) to protect self, patients, visitors and team members.
