CT Technologist FT Evening

Employment Type: Full time, Evening Shift

A $7,500 bonus is offered for eligible external candidates only.

About the Role

Performs all required CAT Scan Examinations to include angiography.

Responsibilities

• Function as part of a cohesive team
• Selects the appropriate software/hardware and equipment imaging techniques
• Knowledge of radiation safety & protection along with appropriate infection control policies implemented by the department and hospital
• Ability to assess patient’s condition, perform intravenous injections of CT contrast, and ensure patient safety through proper use of equipment
• Ability to review each examination for technical accuracy, present completed exams to radiologist, and communicate pertinent data to persons responsible for the care of the patient following the procedure

Requirements

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification
• CT Scan Registry preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• 1-year experience working in a CAT Scan Technologist capacity preferred
• State licensure as a Radiographer (Registry eligible candidates have one year from date of hire to provide supporting documentation that they have passed the licensure exam)
• Must be within 30-mile radius of Saint Francis to take call
• Some weekend rotation required
