Schedule
Works 4-10 hour days, typically 12:30p-11:00p, with either Monday or Friday off every week. Is in the weekend/call (every 5th weekend) and holiday rotation (1-2 holidays per year). Will help cover nights when the night tech is on PTO.
Responsibilities
Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients.
Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order.
Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity.
Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.
Qualifications
Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program (ARRT or NMTCB).
Previous CT experience preferred.
CT credential (ARRT or NMTCB) preferred.
Maintains active registry status.
Maintains current state of employment Permit to Practice Radiology Technologist License.
Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
Maintains Basic Life Support qualification.
