CT Technologist - Evening Shift

About the role

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging procedures using ionizing radiation. They independently conduct or assist with CT and molecular imaging, ensuring accurate data acquisition for diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient information, prepare patients, and ensure confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to ALARA principles to maximize safety and quality.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, document activities, and evaluate image quality.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; assist with interventional procedures.
• Perform imaging procedures as directed by licensed practitioners, ensuring proper positioning and data transfer.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Completion of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
