About the role
The CT Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures following established protocols to support physicians in diagnosis and treatment. They select appropriate exposure factors, algorithms, and scan fields based on patient age and diagnosis to produce accurate cross-sectional images. The role involves participating in complex invasive CT examinations by assisting Radiologists or Physician's Assistants using sterile techniques and ensuring high-quality imaging.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
- Connecticut state Radiographer license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Preferred: 6 months Radiology hospital experience; knowledge of CT technology and venipuncture
- Accepting new graduates
