About the Role
The CT Technologist performs cross-sectional imaging using CT scanners under the supervision of Radiologists and department leadership. They produce diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues to assist in medical diagnosis.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to acquire high-quality images.
- Follow department protocols and safety guidelines.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to support diagnostic needs.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiologic training program.
- Current Washington Radiologic Technologist certification.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Registered Technologist in Radiography (ARRT-R) and within one year, CT certification or Nuclear Medicine certification.
- Minimum six months CT scanning experience as an ARRT(R) technologist.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of CT scanning experience as an ARRT(R)(CT) technologist.
