CT Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging

About the Role

The CT Technologist performs cross-sectional imaging using CT scanners under the supervision of Radiologists and department leadership. They produce diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues to assist in medical diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners to acquire high-quality images.
• Follow department protocols and safety guidelines.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to support diagnostic needs.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited radiologic training program.
• Current Washington Radiologic Technologist certification.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Registered Technologist in Radiography (ARRT-R) and within one year, CT certification or Nuclear Medicine certification.
• Minimum six months CT scanning experience as an ARRT(R) technologist.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of CT scanning experience as an ARRT(R)(CT) technologist.
