CT Technologist - Day/Evening/Night

About the Role

Performs routine and specialized CT radiologic procedures with advanced skills, producing computerized tomographic images of designated anatomical areas according to established protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts CT scans; gathers patient history, explains procedures, and addresses concerns.
  • Administers intravenous contrast media under physician supervision, recognizes and manages complications.
  • Schedules cases, positions and transfers patients comfortably, immobilizes as needed, and practices radiation safety.
  • Performs on-call duties, trains new staff, and fulfills radiographer duties when necessary.
  • Prepares and maintains documentation as required.
  • Supports organizational compliance and privacy programs, upholds professionalism, integrity, and ethics standards, and performs related tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience.
  • ARRT registered technologist in computed tomography or NMTCB certified, with BLS certification.
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program and CT training.
