About the role
The CT Technologist performs advanced diagnostic imaging procedures using a multi-slice CT scanner, requiring independent judgment and technical expertise. They operate power injectors, monitor equipment, and administer contrast agents under physician guidance. The role emphasizes exceptional patient interaction, clear communication, and teamwork to ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures independently, applying sound clinical judgment
- Operate injectors and monitoring equipment per protocols
- Start IVs and administer contrast as directed
- Provide compassionate customer service and maintain professionalism
- Participate actively in a team environment
- Perform diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Completion of a radiologic technology program
- Washington Radiologic Technologist certification
- CPR certification (BLS) from American Heart Association
- Registered Technologist in Radiography and CT within one year of hire
- Preferred: 2+ years of radiologic tech experience, including one year in CT
