CT Technologist

About the Role

Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth is hiring a CT Technologist. This role involves performing quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner for both the hospital and its Outpatient Center.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT and x-ray equipment, prepares exam room, equipment, supplies and medications.
• Provides excellent patient care.
• Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed.
• Performs all quality control checks as prescribed; maintains accurate QC logs and service records.
• Performs highest quality imaging consistent with prescribed examination; documents any deviations.
• Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures.
• Investigates promptly and follows up on unusual incidents and communicates with Radiology Leadership.
• Takes emergency call as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.

Licensure/Certification

• Current & Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) Certificate.
• Current & Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) General License.
• Current BLS certification.
