About the Role
Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth is hiring a CT Technologist. This role involves performing quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner for both the hospital and its Outpatient Center.
Responsibilities
- Operates CT and x-ray equipment, prepares exam room, equipment, supplies and medications.
- Provides excellent patient care.
- Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed.
- Performs all quality control checks as prescribed; maintains accurate QC logs and service records.
- Performs highest quality imaging consistent with prescribed examination; documents any deviations.
- Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures.
- Investigates promptly and follows up on unusual incidents and communicates with Radiology Leadership.
- Takes emergency call as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Licensure/Certification
- Current & Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) Certificate.
- Current & Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) General License.
- Current BLS certification.
