CT Technologist

Role Overview: The CT Technologist performs diagnostic CT exams, working closely with radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate, high-quality imaging. Responsibilities: Maintains competency in imaging techniques, ensures proper patient identification, prepares patients, executes exams per protocols, reviews images for quality, adheres to safety guidelines, and documents procedures accurately. Provides patient education, maintains sterile techniques, operates CT equipment, and supports team training. Qualifications & Skills: Requires ARRT radiography certification, state licensure (if applicable), and BLS certification. Preferred experience includes at least 1 year of CT experience. Skills include anatomy knowledge, image evaluation, equipment operation, teamwork, communication, and task prioritization. Physical Requirements: Ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively; manual dexterity; patient transfer; standing and walking for extended periods; lifting heavy items.
