CT Technologist

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Maintain patient well-being during exams; address patient discomfort or medical issues promptly.
• Administer contrast agents safely and effectively, guiding patients through the process.
• Respond to physician inquiries and patient needs regarding exam procedures and logistics.
• Safeguard patient property and health information according to company policies and legal requirements.
• Manage on-site medications in compliance with company policies and legal standards.
• Show respect for company property, including financial information, and maintain professional behavior.
• Interact professionally and empathetically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with colleagues and patients.

Qualifications

• Genuinely passionate about patient care and able to exercise sound judgment in all situations.
• Effective and professional communication skills, including the ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and solve complex problems.
• State regulations may require the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT).
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.
