CT Technologist

Performs a variety of technical and patient care procedures that require independent judgment utilizing a multi-slice CT scanner. Utilizes power injectors and monitoring equipment. Starts IVs and administers IV, oral, or rectal contrast at the direction of the physician onsite. Provides exemplary customer service. Participates and is engaged in a team framework and maintains a positive approach and attitude. Continues to use radiology technology experience doing diagnostic X-ray and Fluoroscopy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical and patient care procedures using a multi-slice CT scanner.
• Utilize power injectors and monitoring equipment.
• Start IVs and administer IV, oral, or rectal contrast as directed by the physician.
• Provide exemplary customer service.

• Perform diagnostic X-ray and Fluoroscopy work.

Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program.
• Washington Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography or National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with one-year in a CT Scan department preferred.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $52.54 - $79.89 per hour. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
