CT Technologist

Position Summary

Under the administrative supervision of the Director or Operations Supervisor and the clinical guidance of the Radiologist or Team Leader, independently performs computerized tomography (CT) procedures with minimal supervision. The role requires flexibility to cross-train in other Radiology modalities based on departmental staffing needs.

Basic Knowledge

On-the-job training is provided under a radiologist's supervision. Cross-trained employees in multiple DI modalities are responsible for all aspects of each modality, maintaining competencies and renewing certifications annually.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Cross-train in other Radiology modalities as needed.
• Maintain certification and competency levels.
• Participate in holiday rotations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Registered or Certified Radiologic Technologist licensed in Vermont.
• Advanced CT Certification required.
• On-the-job training duration: approximately six months to a year to become proficient, with two months to achieve accountability.
