Schedule
- 3 - 12 hr shifts per week
- 12:00 am - 12:00 pm with rotating weekends
About the role
As a CT Technologist at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, you will work with interventional radiologists assisting with biopsies, drain placements, aspirations, injections, cryoablations, and microwave ablations. This team operates like a family, supporting each other while delivering meaningful patient care.
Responsibilities
- Administer oral and IV contrast, evaluate patients for allergic reactions, and place appropriate IVs for exams
- Load and operate MedRad power injector
- Operate CT scanning equipment, adhere to ALARA standards, and follow physician protocols
- Assist interventional radiologists with procedures
- Maintain a clean work environment, stock supplies and linens
- Move, lift, and assist patients on and off the scanner table
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date)
- ARRT-R (Radiography) with CT certification, or ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography)
