About the role
Performs computerized tomographic (CT) radiographs following established procedures.
Responsibilities
- Schedules and executes all types of CT scans
- Verifies patient identity and procedure details
- Educates patients about the process
- Documents procedures and patient history
- Assists physicians during special procedures
- Maintains safety and quality standards
- Manages department supplies and equipment
- Participates in continuing education to pursue CT registry certification
Requirements
- ARRT certification
- NM CT License or Provisional License
- Current BLS certification
