About the role
We are seeking a CT Technologist responsible for performing a variety of CAT Scan procedures with a focus on patient care and quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Patient positioning and preparing equipment
- Administering contrast agents under physician guidance
- Protecting against radiation exposure
- Assisting physicians during exams
- Maintaining equipment and supplies
- Operating RIS, HIS, and PACS systems
- Ensuring accurate documentation and quality control of scans
- Explaining procedures to patients
- Completing necessary paperwork
- Assisting in training student technologists
- Patient scheduling and safety
- Following departmental procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an A.M.A. approved Radiography program
- Current ARRT or CRT certification and New Jersey license
Preferred experience
- At least three years of hospital technologist experience
- Ability to work independently
Schedule
Night shifts across multiple connected facilities.
