About the role
We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures using a multi-slice CT scanner. The role involves independently conducting CT scans, operating power injectors, starting IVs, and administering contrast media following established protocols, while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. The technologist provides exceptional patient care through clear communication, compassion, and professionalism, and actively participates in a team-oriented environment. Additional duties include performing radiologic X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures as needed.
Responsibilities
- Independently conduct CT scans using a multi-slice CT scanner
- Operate power injectors and start IVs
- Administer contrast media following established protocols
- Ensure patient safety and high-quality imaging
- Provide exceptional patient care through clear communication, compassion, and professionalism
- Perform radiologic X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures as needed
- Actively participate in a team-oriented environment
Requirements
- Completion of a radiologic technology program
- Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the state
- BLS certification
- ARRT certification
- Within one year, obtain CT-specific certification or equivalent
Preferred Skills
- At least two years of radiologic technologist experience
- One year of experience in a CT department
