CT Technologist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures using a multi-slice CT scanner. The role involves independently conducting CT scans, operating power injectors, starting IVs, and administering contrast media following established protocols, while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. The technologist provides exceptional patient care through clear communication, compassion, and professionalism, and actively participates in a team-oriented environment. Additional duties include performing radiologic X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures as needed.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct CT scans using a multi-slice CT scanner
• Operate power injectors and start IVs
• Administer contrast media following established protocols
• Ensure patient safety and high-quality imaging
• Provide exceptional patient care through clear communication, compassion, and professionalism
• Perform radiologic X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures as needed
• Actively participate in a team-oriented environment

Requirements

• Completion of a radiologic technology program
• Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the state
• BLS certification
• ARRT certification
• Within one year, obtain CT-specific certification or equivalent

Preferred Skills

• At least two years of radiologic technologist experience
• One year of experience in a CT department
