Role Overview
The CT Technologist performs independent technical and patient care procedures using multi-slice CT scanners, including starting IVs, administering contrast, and utilizing power injectors and monitoring equipment. They provide exceptional customer service, collaborate within a team, and leverage radiology experience in diagnostic X-ray and Fluoroscopy work.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners and perform imaging procedures accurately
- Administer contrast agents as directed by physicians
- Start IVs and monitor patient status
- Deliver high-quality patient care and customer service
- Maintain safety and compliance with protocols
- Support team collaboration and positive attitude
Qualifications & Skills
- Completion of a formal radiologic technology program
- Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist and certification in CT within one year
- Current BLS certification
- Preferred: 2+ years of radiologic technologist experience, with at least one year in CT
